About Me
What’s on my mind
Look, I get it. I really do. But that doesn’t make it any less ironic. First it was AOL shutting down My Hometown a couple of years ago. Then Apple discontinued iWeb. And now MySpace has been bought out, and the new owners have dropped the one thing that I truly appreciated about their site -- the fact that you could completely customize your own web page. And I understand why. It seems to be hard to make a living when I am your only customer. (And not even a paying one at that.)

But I had the coolest website on MySpace, no matter what anyone else may say. I had my own domain name that linked to it. And I had even begun to upload all those silly stories I had written over the years that, (in my wildest imagination,) would draw a reader in and engage them.
Now those stories are gone. MySpace flipped a switch and *poof* took them down along with everyone else’s. (Out with the old, and in with the new, I guess.) My old web page is gone as well, replaced with a cookie cutter background and photo MySpace provides.

And I am the first to admit, it’s not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. After all, why do I need a web-site anyway? No one reads it. No one knows it’s there. It’s not like anyone even knows it’s gone.

But I do. And I want to share these stories I wrote. They remind me of the good times I had with the people that helped tell them. I want everyone to have the ability to read them, even if no one ever does. (I am under the illusion that they’re more interesting than Twitters and Tweets.)

I know that sounds ‘kinda dumb. But if someone is reading this, then maybe that idea is not completely off the wall.

And if you are. I hope you enjoy.
