DisneyWorld 2011

You know?  When I was a kid, I understood the guy in the Mickey Mouse costume at DisneyWorld was not the real Mickey Mouse.  How could he be?  The real Mickey Mouse was a cartoon.  The dude in the costume just couldn’t cut it.  He was a pale imitation, at best.  But when Mom’s friend Barbara got Isabella, Korra, and Kerry autograph books for the costumed characters to sign, they went nuts!  We crawled all over those parks collecting autographs.  And to give them credit, the people in those costumes could do it.  You handed them a pen, and they could write a name, gloved hand, and all.  I guess that’s why they get paid the big bucks!

Grandma wanted to take the grandkids...
And she let me come too!
